Robert S. MacDonald
Dover-Robert S. Macdonald, 87, of Union Street died Thursday May 3, 2012 at Frisbie Memorial Hospital surrounded by his family.
Born August 24, 1924 in Springfield, MA he was the son of Charles A. and Lucretia (Fosdick) MacDonald. He was a graduate of Dover High School and Macintosh College. He retired from Clarostat Manufacturing in Dover.
He was an active member and former Exalted Ruler of the Dover Elks. He enjoyed fishing and hunting in his younger days. He and his wife loved to travel.
Robert is survived by his sons, Ron Pinkham of Manchester, Tim Pinkham and his wife Priscilla of Lebanon, ME and Richard E. Pinkham of South Berwick, ME; three nieces, Sheri, Linda and Diane; five grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren.
He is predeceased by his parents; his brothers, Victor, Steven and Kenneth; and his wife Joyce A. (Knott) MacDonald in 2011.
