Carl Oscar Carlson
Rollinsford, NH – Carl Oscar Carlson, 75 died at his home on Tuesday May 8th, 2012 after a short and courageous battle with cancer.
He was born in Boston, MA December 19, 1936 the son of Walter Oscar and Natalie (Crowley) Carlson.
He proudly worked for forty years in Boston, MA for the Department of Public Works and more recently as the chief cook and bottle washer of the Lucky Dog hot dog stand. His sense of humor and love for his family was unmatched.
Carl is survived by his loving wife of 48 years Marion (Teehan) Carlson, a son John Carlson of Rollinsford, a daughter Lisa Covey and her husband James of Rollinsford, a son Brian Carlson of St. Petersburg, FL, a daughter Kristen Carlson of Plainville, MA, a daughter Karen Mayer and her husband Michael of Monroe, NY, a daughter Kelly Carlson and her fiancé Noel Baum of Rollinsford, a sister Jean Woodford and her husband William of East Boston, MA, a brother Walter Carlson of Dover, NH, five grandchildren Ariel Todd, Jamie Covey, Michael Mayer, Catelyne Mayer, and Finnigan Baum, and several nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his daughter Lori Carlson.
Visiting hours will be Friday May 11th, 2012 from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at the Tasker Funeral Home, 621 Central Ave., Dover. The funeral mass will be Saturday May 12th, 2012 at 10 a.m. at St. Mary’s Church, 411 Church St., Rollinsford.
