Loretta G. Day
Dover, NH – Loretta G. Day, 81 of Dover, died Friday July 20, 2012 at the Wentworth-Douglass Hospital.
She was born February 4, 1931 in Somersworth the daughter of Napoleon and Adeline (Deshais) Gagne and has resided in this area all of her life.
Loretta retired from Eastern Air Devices after working for more than 30 years.
She was a valued member of the volunteer and community relations department at Wentworth-Douglass Hospital for 12 years.
She was a loving and devoted mother and wife.
Members of her family include her husband, Richard I. Day of Dover; her son, Raymond Meserve and his wife, Kathy of Pittsfield; three daughters, Susan Houde and her husband, Larry of Dover, Diane Olson and her husband, Randy of Rochester and Debra Howard and her husband, Patrick of Dover; 7 grandchildren, Steven Meserve, Melissa Clark, Leslie Houde, Dale Houde, Keri Hemingway, Katherine Howard and Jennifer Howard; 8 great grandchildren; one brother, Maurice Gagne of Rochester; one sister, Rachel Neal of Rochester; and many nieces and nephews.
The family wishes to thank all of the staff on 3 West at Wentworth-Douglass Hospital for all of their care and support.
A graveside funeral service will be Wednesday July 25th at 11:30 a.m. at St. Mary New Cemetery.
