Mary Savitch

Dover, NH – Mary Savitch, 98 of Dover died Tuesday August 28, 2012 at Colonial Hill of Rochester.

She was born June 27, 1914 in Brooklyn, New York the daughter of Alexander and Vera (Josewich) Jacobwitz.

Mary was a good seamstress and loved to garden.

Mary was predeceased by her husband John Savitch in 1984 who worked at Clarostat, by two sisters, and two brothers.

She is survived by her daughter, Nina Savitch of Dover and her son, Walter Savitch of San Diego, California.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Friday at 11:00 a.m. at St. Mary Church (corner of Chestnut and Thirds Sts., Dover). Relatives and friends are invited to a visiting hour from 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. at the Tasker Funeral Home, 621 Central Ave., Dover.

Burial will follow in St. Mary New Cemetery.
