Raymond F. Huard

Rollinsford- Raymond F. Huard, 91, of Portland Ave. died peacefully with family at his side at his home on Tuesday, August 28, 2012.

Born January 2, 1921 in Manchester, NH the son of Frank A. and Eva M. (Lalumiere) Huard. A graduate of St. Joseph’s High School and St. Anselm’s College, he served his country during WWII in the European theater as a chemical supply officer in the US Army. Raymond and his wife Marcelle owned and operated F.A. Huard & Son Fuel Oil Company in Manchester.

Raymond is survived by his children, Suzanne Huard and her partner Judith Nelson of Rollinsford, Robert Huard and his wife Marion of Needham, MA, and Roger Huard and his wife Shelley of Rockford, MI; his daughters-in-law Carolyn Huard of Rockville, MD and Theresa Huard of Houston, TX; his eight grandchildren, Nicole Huard-Daly and her husband Andrew Daly of West Hartford, CT, Jessica Huard of Seattle, WA, Aimee Huard of Chicago, IL, Kathleen Kennedy and her husband Jason Kennedy of Franklin, MA, Noelle Huard of Silver Spring, MD, Tyler Huard and his wife Danielle of Houston, TX, Brendan Huard of Needham, MA, and Scott Huard and his wife Elizabeth of Houston, TX; one great grandson, Calvin Daly of West Hartford, CT; his sister-in-law Pauline (Verrette) Grandmont of Bloomfield, NJ; and many nieces and nephews.

He is predeceased by his wife of 52 years Marcelle L. (Verrette) Huard and a son Paul Huard.

In his retirement, Raymond enjoyed reading, sports, his home workshop, and spending time with his family. He was a good man who loved his family and was loved back.

Memorial services are private. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Wentworth Homecare and Hospice, 121 Broadway, Suite 117, Dover, NH 03820.
