Joseph Signorello

Dover- Joseph Signorello, Sr, 83, of Dover, NH passed away Wednesday, December 12, 2012 at Portsmouth Regional Hospital after a short illness.

Joe was born in Boston, Massachusetts, and after graduating from High School in Boston, he served in the United States Marine Corps and United States Coast Guard, and received the WWII Campaign Medal. After the military, Joe graduated from Boston College in 1953, attaining a B.S. degree. Mr. Signorello worked at Simplex Wire and Cable Company and then became a real-estate sales manager until he retired in 1995.

Joe is survived by his wife of 57 years Evelyn Signorello, and his children John Signorello and his wife Lee Anne, Portsmouth, NH, Joe Signorello, Jr., Anne (Signorello) and her husband Randy Crothers, Mary Signorello, Julie (Signorello) and her husband Michael McKinnon Dane, all of Dover, NH, Mark Signorello of Tamworth, NH, Matthew Signorello of Exeter, NH, Chris Signorello and his wife Leigh Ann of Madison, CT., ten grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren.

A wake will be held from 3pm to 5pm on Friday December 14 at Tasker Funeral Home, 621 Central Ave, Dover, NH. Funeral mass will be held on December 15 at 10am St. Joseph's Church, Central Ave, Dover, NH, followed by burial with military honors held at New St. Mary's Cemetery, on Dover Point Road, Dover, NH.
